Who is Lakshmi

The goddess Lakshmi is one of the most important deities in Hinduism. She is believed to be the goddess of wealth and good fortune.

Lakshmi is often depicted with coins falling from her open hands. This is to symbolize the good fortune in wealth that comes from invoking the goddess into the lives of her worshippers.

But what we fail to realize is that when Lakshmi manifests truly within our incarnate life this is NOT how she will usually materialize. How she manifests is in the form as someone in need. Someone in need of care. Someone in need of love. Someone that calls us to bring forth that aspect within ourselves that we have been CRYING out to be taken care of.

The goddess Lakshmi is the aspect of good and generosity that has been depicted throughout the ages but she comes disguised so that we may find that aspect within ourselves.
